About us:
The Theodore Multipurpose Health Service (MPHS), located 229km southwest of Rockhampton, is part of the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS).
Theodore is situated on the Leichhardt Highway between the junction of Castle Creek and the Dawson River.
The Theodore MPHS is a 10-bed facility that provides a range of health services to the community, including emergency, inpatients and outpatients, residential aged care, and telehealth services.
At Theodore MPHS, we are going through an exciting period of transition where we are redesigning our health care service delivery model to better respond to emerging challenges and meet the demand and expectations of the local community into the next decade.
About the role:
The Operational Services Department provides services to the Health Service, including environmental cleaning services, catering, laundry, porterage, and general and preventative maintenance.
Delivery of these services is provided with minimum disruption to daily activities, in a manner that supports the safety of patients, staff, and visitors in a high-quality clinical and aged care environment.
Comprehensive support services for the Theodore MPHS are to be provided to meet set standards.
About you:
Demonstrated ability to have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills that will enable effective interaction with staff and consumers in any given situation and enhance a professional image.
Demonstrated ability to operate within a multi-skilled team environment with a strong focus on customer service.
Work towards achieving the standards set within the department and organisation.
Demonstrate basic self-management skills, including time management, ability to organise and prioritise tasks, and problem-solving to assist with completing duties/tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
What we offer:
Salary information:
An hourly rate between $38.42 - $41.43 (including 23% casual loading) p.h.
