An exciting opportunity exists for an Operational Service Officer – Clinical Equipment to provide support for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service in the delivery and management of clinical equipment and loan devices. Clinical Resource Service is the key point of contact for an agreed clinical equipment loan fleet. It aims to provide efficient resource management services specifically related to a centralised clinical equipment management, maintenance, advisory and loan service for in-house equipment assets.

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include: Undertake priority-based retrieval and delivery of clinical loan equipment. Perform cleaning, decontamination and compliance inspections on aspects of equipment preparation, safety and maintenance of loan equipment. Responding to inquiries within CRS Service Framework. Actively identify and raise loan equipment par levels, preventative maintenance and Biomedical Technology Service (BTS) maintenance costs discrepancies or anomalies with Nurse Unit Manager. Salary rates: $33.03 - $34.62 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Operational Officer 3) (part time position available, 30.4 hrs p.f.)
