We give you a world of potential We have an opportunity for a full-time position for an Operations Risk Management Officer who would be responsible for coordinating activities to maintain a satisfactory compliance status across Operations. You will also be acting as a liaison point for operations staff on issues relating to compliance and policy. A role you will love This role is primarily focused on investigating and addressing policy and compliance issues where there is no clear definition, as well as ensuring relevant communication is completed. You will be part of a close-knit and supportive team and will work together to achieve deliverables. Key Responsibilities: Addressing compliance and risk issues in a proactive manner Coordination of risk event management with the assigned Business Units Coordination and lead Root Cause Investigations with the assigned Business Units Conduct Sanctions Screenings of various entities and follow on determinations Request for information in various forms are required to be researched and the appropriate response drafted to external bodies Effective tracking of requests and fulfilment to required SLAs Coordinate Risk Assessment Reports Monitor Issued Capital reconciliation escalations that are notified via the Recon tool Investigate cause of Issued Capital variation and communicate to relevant departments and advise of discrepancy and potential cause Adhoc risk management projects as directed by Manager What will you bring to the role? You will have sound knowledge of the share industries and risk management principles. Additionally, a sound legal knowledge of various legislation that encompass AML/CTF, Sanctions, Issued Capital in listed Issuers, Ace as a Risk management tool.
