About the Roles:We are seeking Expressions of Interest for talented and future Operational Readiness professionals, to join our inclusive and high performing Operational Readiness team, supporting Copper South Australia Major Projects.
The roles required include:
Operational Readiness Area Manager(s)Operational Readiness Lead(s)Operational Readiness Specialist(s)The Copper South Australia Major Project portfolio includes a portfolio of projects at varying stages of maturity. From greenfield development to brownfield upgrades, these projects will significantly increase the production from our key South Australian Assets. The Operational Readiness Team will be instrumental in safely delivering Operational specific requirements for each project. This will include collaboration with both Project Functions and Operational Teams, participation in project reviews and risk assessments and development of project Operational Readiness Plans and deliverables, as well as aiding in handover.
Your accountabilities will include: Ensure an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental and community responsibility is maintained through Operational Readiness activities.Ensure HSE, Quality and Productivity KPIs are meeting monthly targets.Collaborate closely with Project, Operational and Functional representatives to ensure the successful integration of projects into their hosting assets.Set strategic direction for OR through Project development phases, creating Strategies and Plans to enable successful OR execution.Through Execution, develop operational readiness deliverables and work with stakeholders to gain endorsement to meet key project milestones, to enable effective handover.Apply an understanding of the operation's systems, activities, risk handover and key processes, terminology, and workflow.Identify and assess risks to Operational Readiness execution, and highlight / transfer any project risk to be handed over to operations.Manage change in scope / schedule and communicate impact to Operational Readiness.About You: You have Operational Readiness experience - delivering projects to site operations.You have at least 5 years' experience in an operation utilising your qualifications and skills to positively contribute to the safe and efficient operations. This may include Copper Smelting and Refining or similar Base Metals experience – Operations, Maintenance or Engineering preferred.You have Project Management experience - leading teams and managing objectives or recognised with a track record of getting things done with your team.Bachelor's degree in engineering, or relevant Trade.You're an effective communicator and will listen to what other people say and share your point of view in a constructive and collaborative manner with the various stakeholders and act on the agreed resolution.You are thorough in understanding the challenges to know what needs to be done through engagement with stakeholders and various groups, confident and tenacious to present your position, and achieve alignment of purpose to ensure the best outcome for business is achieved.You are comfortable with following systems and processes.You understand the required capabilities outside your own expertise, because you appreciate their importance in achieving the required outcomes for smooth transition to operations of an asset.You have a desire to learn from your peers and stakeholders and grow in the role, to achieve a positive outcome that is safe and sustainable.Location and Roster: You will be Adelaide based, Monday-Friday with frequent site visits to ensure stakeholder engagement and alignment. During the Development phase of projects, the travel requirements are less, however during execution and handover, it is likely that you will attend site on a regular roster to manage deliverables, liaise with stakeholders and assist with handover as required.
