Operational Officers - Expression of Interest The Operational Services Team at the Mackay Base Hospital is currently seeking applications for Operational Officers to join their team. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and successful candidates will be notified of available vacancies. Operational Services provides and co-ordinates a diverse range of services that support the clinical divisions in the delivery of patient centred health care at Mackay Base Hospital. The department consists of the following keys areas: Cleaning Services Grounds and Gardens and Patient Equipment Loan Store (PELS). About the Mackay Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has six hospitals, two multi-purpose health services and four community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
