AWX is currently recruiting for an Operational Officer in a government organisation in Agriculture.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is looking to gain valuable experience in data entry and research support.
As a Data Entry Operational Officer, you will play a key role in assisting the research team with data management, entry, and analysis.
This role will be 10 to 20 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities: • Accurately enter data into databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.
• Review and clean data to ensure it meets required standards of quality.
• Assist in organising and categorising data for various research initiatives.
• Conduct online research to gather relevant information and support data analysis.
• Prepare data reports and summaries for the research team.
• Perform general administrative tasks and assist the research team as required.
• Ensure all data handling and reporting is done in compliance with company protocols.
Ideal Candidate: • Previous experience in data entry, research, or administrative support is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Ag commander or other similar software.
• Ability to perform basic online research and work with databases.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
