To provide for the delivery of safe and nutritious food while adhering to Queensland Health guidelines, policies and procedures. As a Food Safety Supervisor, oversee the day-to-day implementation of food safety in the workplace and apply and monitor food safety requirements.
The key responsibilities of the role are: Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values, as outlined above.Ensure ordering, food preparation, cooking production, presentation methods and distribution services are in accordance with the food safety program.Prepare meals for special dietary requirementsRotate stock and monitor the quality of stock receivedControl portion size and quality of foodMaintain food presentation standardsReport maintenance requirementsHave the skills of a Food Safety SupervisorActively contribute to maintaining a safe workplace that values the health and safety of co-workers, clients and visitors.Actively contribute to developing and maintaining a culture where staff are vigilant to risks to themselves, their co-workers, clients and visitors (including health and safety, business and operational risks).Actively participate in the Health Service 1:1 conversation process.This advertisement is part of a rolling recruitment process; applications will be assessed as received. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
