Operational Officer (Commonwealth Home Support Program) Provide operational assistance to Home Care and Allied Health Services group programs, primarily providing transportation for clients to attend facility based sessions and social outings.
An opportunity has become available for an Operational Officer (Commonwealth Home Support Program) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Operate bus to provide transport for clients to attend GCH facility based groups and social outings in the community Assist Diversional Therapist to deliver social support group program to eligible clients Provide opportunities for clients to be actively involved in their care and address goals in the service plan with a focus on maximising independence Be alert to changing circumstances or deterioration of clients are ensure risks are reported appropriately Participate in quality improvement, mandatory training, and skill enhancement opportunities including the Professional Development Plan process About you To be successful in this position you will require:
Aged Care Clearance Drivers Licence Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Flexible work options Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Permanent part time (44.84 hours per fortnight.) Base salary ranging from $30.33 - $32.36 per hour About Us The Home Care and Allied Health Service is funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Program to provide a range of flexible, entry level basic support services that assist eligible older clients and their carers to maintain independence in their own homes and within the community.
