Alliance Airlines, Australia's leading charter airline, is experiencing significant growth and actively seeking a Operational Maintenance Manager to lead and enhance our operational environment.The RoleAs the Operational Maintenance Manager, you will provide strong leadership to our logistics and workshop teams, ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency in our workshops, logistics, and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) functions. Your role will be pivotal in exceeding maintenance standards and compliance with regulatory and company policies.Key ResponsibilitiesManage staff to ensure safety, compliance, and delivery targets are met or exceeded.Promote and maintain a high standard of quality, safety and security compliance as required by the Alliance Airlines Corporate Safety ManualCollaborate with Procurement, Maintenance Planning, and technical departments to manage material supply and workshop outputs, meeting production schedules.Ensure all functions are carried out in a safe and compliant manner.Work with Line Maintenance Managers to support line and hangar maintenance requirements.Promote continuous improvement in procedures and processes.Collaborate with all Alliance Airlines departments to meet required outcomes.Control expenditure for logistics and workshops, seeking future improvements.Manage spares control in collaboration with logistics and supply chain functions.Ensure quality and regulatory standards are met in logistics certification documents.Develop and review Engineering Work Instructions for the workshop and logistics environment.Assist Quality Assurance and Safety departments in supporting maintenance operations.Oversee logistics functions and contract management.Fulfill regulated reporting and registrations to support Alliance Airlines operations.Qualifications/ Experience:Detailed experience in an aviation maintenance environment.Experience in a senior role within a maintenance organisation.Understanding of and the ability to interpret and implement CASR 21/42/145 regulations within a maintenance environment.Extensive logistics knowledge and experience, preferably in an airline or airline maintenance environment.Extensive workshop management and/or supervisory experience, preferably in an airline or airline maintenance environment.Demonstrated interaction with Manufacturers, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers and Vendors in relation to the supply or procurement of goods and services.Demonstrated interaction with CASA and 3rd Party organisations regarding aviation auditing and/or quality control.Tertiary education in logistics/Supply Chain or relevant experienceTertiary education in business or related disciplinesAviation auditing and/or quality control experience.Why Alliance AirlinesFrom our ground staff to flight attendants, corporate staff/other staff, managers and directors, we share a down-to-earth philosophy of working towards a common goal of providing a safer, premium flying experience for customers while creating a thriving work environment where our employees feel valued.ASX listed company.8 offices across AustraliaSignificant recent expansion and continued growth through 2023 and beyondOpen and collaborative working environmentSupportive leadershipActive community support and involvement.Drug and Alcohol testing and police check clearance will be part of the recruitment process.**COVID safe practices will be complied with throughout the Alliance recruitment process and all applicants must also comply. ** With a growing fleet and a focus on expansion, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our success and be part of a team dedicated to excellence.
