The Operational Excellence Lead will drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operations at a key site in Shepparton. This role is crucial for implementing an operational excellence program and utilising systems and tools to cultivate a culture of excellence. You will be instrumental in achieving the site's operational strategy and balanced scorecard goals, leading and managing a production line team to meet performance metrics.
Develop and enhance the capability of the production line team. Own the Daily Direction Setting process and manage 24-hour, multi-shift operations. Be accountable for line results, including safety, quality, reliability, schedule adherence, productivity, and cost control. Create and execute action plans, prioritise tasks, and allocate resources effectively. Build and empower self-sufficient teams, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence. Skills & Experience: Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of fostering a collaborative and accountable culture within operations. In-depth knowledge and experience in food manufacturing processes.
