About the role
Cornish College is seeking an experienced Operational Compliance Manager to join our team. This part-time role will be responsible for ensuring the college's operations are compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. The successful candidate will be based in Bangholme, VIC.
What you'll be doing The position of Operational Compliance Manager is responsible for the provision of expert advice to the Principal, Executive Leadership Team and, where required, the College Board, on the management of the College's mandated risk and compliance requirements. This position is required to work closely with all staff and areas of the College to assist in the management of the diverse range of day-to-day operational compliance including the coordination of policies, procedures, documentation and reporting to ensure that the College's compliance and risk obligations (regulatory, legal and operational) are met.
What we're looking for Significant experience in a compliance or regulatory role, preferably within the education sector Strong understanding of laws and regulations governing the operation of educational institutions Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently and proactively identify and address compliance risks Problem-solving and analytical skills to assess complex issues and develop effective solutions Familiarity with compliance monitoring and reporting tools and processes At Cornish College, we are committed to providing a supportive work environment.
