The Operational register covers roles that are concerned with operating and running the facilities and services of the University. Roles may involve direct or indirect service provision for students and staff, often as part of a team engaged in similar tasks. Procedures and routines are well established. Generally, the following fields would exist in this register: Maintenance Grounds Security Residences Hospitality Retail Cleaning Child care Fleet Printing Procurement Postal and delivery Other services relating to sites or sporting activities Broad role-specific capabilities include: General and/or detailed technical expertise Operating specialised plant and equipment Following instructions and procedures Working productively in a high-pressure environment Utilising technology Applicants will be matched with positions that align with their qualifications, skills and capabilities.
