Operational Analyst          Zinfra partners with companies across the utility and infrastructure sectors to deliver maintenance, operations, engineering, and construction services. For our partners our work is crucial to maintaining the safety and reliability of their electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets.  About the role: The Operational Analyst develops the tools, mechanisms and provides the necessary reports and dashboards for managing forecasting and resourcing of the Gas Services Portfolio of work. The role coordinates the monthly forecast for the Gas Services Portfolio of work, monitors the variance against the baseline and provides detailed variance analysis and identifies potential risk scenarios. Your responsibilities will include:  Coordinating financial forecasts, establishing baselines and facilitating change management for Portfolio of Work   Developing and supporting the tools required for forecasting programs by WBS, activity and region. Developing the mechanisms and reports required to analyse program financials such as budgets, unit rates, run rates, commitments and accrual/cost pass through activities. Monitoring program performance across the business and liaising with other regions to optimise synergies and improve long term cost efficiencies. Providing visibility of potential risk scenarios and management strategies relating to the program of work Providing reliable data and reports for review by delivery teams to monitor the programs. Providing analytical skills to support the delivery of the program. Driving real-time, what-to-do-next and what-if analyses and implementation of solutions Developing and strengthen relationship with Asset Management, Finance and Delivery Teams to ensure that customer expectations are met whilst matching Jemena's delivery capabilities. Experience Tertiary qualified in Engineering, Finance or Business Management (Desirable) Strong project management skills (e.g. planning, organization, prioritization, timely decision making, delegation, managing and measuring work, etc) needed to ensure that improvements are delivered on time and within budget. Knowledge of field requirements, construction methodologies and work practices within a utility's environment.  Developing and managing systems and tools that provide clear visibility of demand and supply status. Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with multiple conflicting priorities. About you Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job. Experience in utilities or industrial works. Experience managing routine CAPEX and OPEX programs and projects which involve detailed stakeholder negotiations to ensure that projects occur on time and within budget. Demonstrated experience of implementing and/or continually improving operational process and systems.
