Operating Theatre Technician (CSSD) - DaylesfordSeeking applications for an Operating Theatre Technician (CSSD) to join the Perioperative Services team at the Daylesford campus.You will be working with a new team in a brand new, purpose-built sterilising department. Deliverance of high-level care, incorporating infection prevention and control principles with validated decontamination processes. Major responsibilities of the candidate include cleaning, processing, and sterilisation of surgical instruments, treatment trays, and sets. A high level of sterility knowledge and processing, predominantly around Endoscopy, will be highly regarded.Candidates will need to be available to accommodate scheduled theatre sessions each Friday.There is a potential for an increase in service delivery in the near future.Details of Appointment:Permanent part-time position working 16 hours per fortnight each Friday / Casual opportunities also available.Dependent on experience, as per award + 11.5% Superannuation.About CHRH:Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH) is a rural health organisation that operates five campuses across Hepburn Shire and the Macedon Ranges in the Central Highlands of Victoria in Australia, north and north-west of Melbourne.
