Sydney Southwest Private Hospital is currently seeking a Senior Registered Nurse with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to manage our operating rooms as a Theatre Floor Coordinator.
As the Operating Theatre Floor Coordinator, your responsibilities will include: Oversee safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards.Focus on leading an efficient and safe theatre floor responding to operational needs whilst maintaining a calm and supportive attitude.Support and liaise with the Perioperative Services Manager to deliver effective business and patient outcomes.Ensure all theatres are staffed appropriately and cost-effectively.Understand legislative requirements, ACORN, and sterilization standards.Establish and maintain relationships with staff, Doctors, patients, families, and other personnel.Knowledge of Infection Control and Risk management.Sydney Southwest Private Hospital has seven state-of-the-art operating rooms where various specialties include Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Hand Surgery, Plastics, General, Gynaecology, Bariatric, Interventional, Thoracics, ENT, and Endocrine surgery.

Tertiary Qualification in Health-related discipline or Management (or working towards)Registered Nurse with current AHPRA RegistrationMinimum of 4 years management experienceMinimum of 3 years Human Resources Management experienceDemonstrated experience in managing budget targetsHigh degree of computer literacy including MS OfficeExperience in a similar position (desired)Excellent communication and customer service skillsWhy Healthscope?
