How will I help? An exciting opportunity is available for an Openshift/ Kubernetes System Engineer to join the Infrastructure and Service Management team in Group Technology. This position is open to interstate candidates as well.  The role will include, and is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters. Manage cluster resources and configurations. Implement best practices for cluster security and performance. Identify and resolve issues related to cluster performance, availability, and security. Work closely with support teams to resolve complex technical problems. Develop and maintain automation scripts for cluster provisioning, maintenance, and monitoring. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for OpenShift environments. Implement security policies and measures to protect OpenShift clusters. Ensure compliance with organizational and industry security standards. Experience with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes (ACS) Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions for the OpenShift environment. Prometheus and Splunk experience is a plus. Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for OpenShift clusters. Monitor resource usage and plan for capacity expansion based on business needs. Provide critical incident only response outside of working hours on a weekly rotation. What's in it for me? To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate the below skills: Proven experience as an OpenShift Administrator or in a similar role. Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools, especially OpenShift. Proficiency in Linux system administration. Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Relevant certifications, such as Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, are a plus. On-call requirement once every 2 weeks initially. As the team grows, the on-call frequency will be reduced.  What's it like to work there?
