Position Overview The Ohio State University College of Nursing (CON) invites applications for inquisitive and outcomes-focused professionals to join our team through open-rank, tenure-track faculty at an assistant, associate, or full professor level. The vision of the CON is to be a leading voice and advocate in education, scientific discovery and practice to change the future of healthcare for the better. Our mission is to empower and inspire our communities to answer their calling to care in ways that benefit all people. We are seeking faculty to provide contributions across a wide array of areas, including social determinants of health, health services research, the use of emerging technologies, and across the lifespan. Candidates will have demonstrated success in research appropriate to rank, including a track record of publication and extramural funding.
Performance Objectives The faculty member is expected to maintain an independent research program while collaborating with faculty in the college, university, and community stakeholders in Columbus to build a growing program of research focused on priority areas such as social determinants of health, health services research, the use of emerging technologies, and across the lifespan. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success in health-focused research and have relevant publications and evidence of collaborating with university and/or community stakeholders.
Education and Experience Requirements Required: Successful completion of a PhD or other doctorate degree in nursing or other related field by the date of hire; and RN licensure in the State of Ohio for those who are nurses.
