About This RoleWhitehaven Coal is seeking experienced OCE Supervisors to play a vital role in leading our Tarrawonga Mine Operations.
We are looking for a results-oriented leader with outstanding communication skills who is ready to embrace the challenges and rewards that come with this dynamic role.
The successful incumbent will be offered a 7/7 roster and paid camp accommodation during their allocated roster period.
What You'll Do Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mining and plant efficiencyOversee production targets and coal quality, and assist in production planningPerform statutory inspections for open-cut operationsSupervise and guide mining crews, including delivering pre-shift briefings and managing shift plansPlay a key role in fostering a positive and collaborative organisational cultureWhat You'll Bring The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of mining legislation, safety and environmental systems, along with expertise in open-cut mining techniques.
