Opal is a major supplier of high volume custom printed folding cartons to brands across Australia and New Zealand.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Opal team as our Regency Park site is looking for an Afternoon Shift Coordinator in an ongoing, full-time role!

Working a four-day, 38-hour week (Monday to Thursday) leading our afternoon shift, the key focus of this role will be to:
Ensure your team's safety is protected.
Lead the Afternoon Shift teams to achieve the production plan to the targeted DIFOT levels.
Build engagement and trust with employees through regular, open communications.
Ensure the execution of production activities is efficient and effective to meet targeted KPIs for the site.
Assess training needs and develop individual training & assessment plans to meet the crew's operational needs.
Ensure a clean handover takes place at the start and end of shifts.
Develop, understand, implement, and sustain standardized processes and conditions across all teams to meet customer and business requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
For this role we would ideally like you to have:
Experience upholding safety standards across a fast-paced manufacturing site.
Experience in leading & motivating teams on a multi-shift manufacturing site.
Prior experience driving improvements in relevant KPIs such as DIFOT and upholding strict product quality standards.
Demonstrated experience in using ERP systems (such as SAP) would be highly regarded.
A proven continuous improvement and customer-centric mindset.
Clear and effective communication skills and strong coaching skills.
