Tyndale is a preschool to Year 12 co-educational school located in Blacktown, Sydney. About the role Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed Educators to fulfil the ongoing part-time role of OOSHC Educator in Tyndale Christian School's Before and After School Care program, Kids' Club. The successful candidate for this position will work a total of 17 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 2.30pm - 5.30pm.
Kids' Club is a before and after school/vacation care service for students in Kindergarten to Year 6 (Primary school) who attend Tyndale Christian School. We have a dedicated purpose-built building in the school grounds with access to all school facilities including the oval, playgrounds, hall, and library. Our experienced team of educators is dedicated to providing a safe and engaging space with tailored experiences that meet the interests and developmental needs of the students who attend. Kids' Club's hours of operation are 7.00am-8.20am for Before School Care, 3.00pm-6.00pm for After School Care, and 7.00am-6.00pm for Vacation Care.
Minimum Requirements: Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearanceActively working towards a degree, diploma, or certificate in school age education and care or a related field that is accredited by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)Ability to work collaboratively with other educators, administrators, and parents to create a positive learning environment for young childrenExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and other stakeholdersGenuine passion for working with childrenAvailability to work Monday to Friday from 2.30pm-5.30pmPossess a Diploma in School Age Education and CareExperience working in an OOSHC settingPossess a current first aid certificate, asthma and anaphylaxis training, and the completion of a recognised child protection courseThe commencement date for this position will be in late January to early February 2025 by negotiation.
