Onneer | Senior Gis Analyst

Onneer seeks to fill a number of Senior GIS Analyst roles working with our federal government clients.
These roles will require you to tackle complex geospatial challenges by exclusively leveraging the ArcGIS software suite. You will transform, create, and analyse spatial and non-spatial datasets in collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders with the support of your team.
Our ideal candidates will have experience working across the breadth of ArcGIS solutions and be competent at helping describe the outcomes spatial data holders are seeking and then matching that with out-of-the-box capabilities across the platform.
You will be fully conversant with using ArcGIS Pro to publish Web Layers and author Web Maps to suit your chosen Web Apps. A high degree of attention to detail in your deliverables is extremely important to us.

Experience publishing a range of datasets including raster mosaics is highly regarded.
Key Accountabilities Lead project delivery, planning, and execution for identified outcomes/clients. Guide a small team in delivering exceptional GIS services in alignment with company expectations. Utilise features of the ArcGIS software suite for a range of geospatial tasks. Participate in the planning and execution of data transformation and analysis projects. Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address geospatial capability gaps. Contribute to producing and delivering client-specific content across multiple GIS platforms, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise. Particularly in Web GIS Content, applications and web-services. Participate in training and continuous learning to stay updated on GIS technology. Key Processes Instigate contact with stakeholders to capture and document solutions to suit their business needs. Manage a team of GIS Analysts to achieve client solutions. Import, clean, and enrich spatial and non-spatial data for advanced analysis. Develop advanced maps, geospatial visualisations, and web content to interpret and communicate data. Oversee quality assurance checks on geospatial products to ensure accuracy and adherence to client specifications. Generate detailed reports and presentations that provide strategic insights to clients. Contribute to internal training and development efforts, sharing advanced GIS techniques and best practices with team members. Education and Experience Requirements +4 years' experience in the use of ArcGIS Web GIS technology. Bachelor's Degree in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field is highly desirable. Understanding of GIS concepts and software, substantiated by coursework or professional experience. Certifications in GIS or ArcGIS are highly regarded. Multiple years of professional experience in the GIS field may be considered in lieu of formal educational requirements. Skills and Competencies Demonstrated ability to author Web Apps using ArcGIS Experience Builder and Instant Apps. Demonstrated ability in utilising ArcGIS for geospatial analysis and content delivery. Experience in WebGIS concepts, data, content and applications. Specifically, within the ArcGIS product suite. Excellent ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects. Effective communication skills, capable of presenting complex information to technical and non-technical audiences. A commitment to continuous professional development and knowledge sharing. Ability in Python/Arcade scripting is highly regarded.
