**Job Description:**

Ryder System, a leader in transportation and supply chain solutions, is seeking a dedicated and resilient Online Customer Support Representative to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who thrive in an energetic and rapidly evolving work environment. As a key member of our customer service team, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with our services and products.

**Responsibilities:**

- **Customer Interaction:** Respond to customer inquiries through various online channels (email, chat, and social media) in a professional and timely manner.

- **Issue Resolution:** Diagnose customer issues and provide effective solutions while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

- **Product Knowledge:** Develop a comprehensive understanding of Ryder's products and services to accurately assist customers and provide thorough guidance and support.

- **Research & Analysis:** Utilize research skills to gather information pertinent to customer inquiries and issues, ensuring accurate and prompt responses.

- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions in the customer relationship management (CRM) system for future reference and reporting purposes.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments, such as Operations and Sales, to relay customer feedback and resolve issues that require cross-departmental coordination.

- **Continuous Improvement:** Contribute to the improvement of customer support processes by providing creative suggestions based on customer feedback and personal experiences.

- **Performance Metrics:** Meet or exceed performance targets related to response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction as set by the management team.

- **Training & Development:** Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to enhance product knowledge, customer service skills, and personal growth.

**Requirements:**

- **Education:** High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.

- **Experience:** A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer support, preferably in an online or digital environment.

- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in using CRM systems, online communication tools, and standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).

- **Personality Traits:**
- **Resilient:** Ability to handle difficult situations and customer complaints professionally and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- **Reliable:** Dependable and consistent in attendance and performance; able to prioritize tasks effectively.
