We are seeking an experienced residential Diesel Mechanic to service our Northern Tasmanian customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of diesel-powered construction equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, and backhoes.

Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on diesel-powered construction equipment Conduct engine overhauls, rebuilds, and replacements as needed Identify and diagnose issues using computerized diagnostic tools and other equipment Inspect, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service Maintain accurate and complete service records Mon - Fri role offering solid a wage plus overtime at penalty rates.

Candidate In order to be considered, candidates will come from a heavy equipment service background within any relatable industry.

If you've worked in a trade role construction equipment, mining, forestry, access equipment, forklifts, generators, compressors or any other relevant equipment, we want to speak with you!

Key candidate criteria are:
Relevant Trade Qualification of Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Light Vehicle Mechanic Proven experience working on earthmoving equipment, access equipment, ag equipment or trucks Strong mechanical, hydraulic and diagnostics skills Ability to navigate computer programs for diagnostics and troubleshooting Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively If you have the above criteria hit the apply button or for more information phone Noel Reid 0447 092 947 or (03) 9709 4089
