The Campus: Maryborough Campus is situated in an area on the northern outskirts of town surrounded by sugar cane fields and remnant bushland, just off the road to Hervey Bay. The private location and spaciousness make for a peaceful and productive learning environment.
We are a small campus where each member of our team works alongside each other in a supportive, kind, and caring environment. Teachers, teacher aides and support staff and volunteers support each other to be the best that they can be.
The Position:
As the Campus Principal, you will be responsible for the management and professional leadership of the campus on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the delivery of the curriculum with a focus on the student as a self-directed learner, the implementation of the school's policies and programs and the provision of pastoral care. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.
In this role you will be expected to:
Manage the administration of the Campus. Support and respect the School's Ethos, Values and Guiding Principles. Provide professional and instructional leadership ensuring the school curriculum is delivered in line with the Australian Curriculum requirements across Years 3 - 12. In association with the Board, plan the school budget and keep to the agreed budgets. Focus on enhanced student achievement and engagement for all students across the school. Teach as required. Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate will have previous school leadership experience which may include primary sub-school, secondary sub-school, campus leadership or an equivalent level in curriculum development or teaching and learning leadership.
