The Opportunity:
The Project Coordinator provides technical expertise and advice to support the MPS Project Manager and MITSS. Under direction from the Project Manager, this position plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls the scheduling of team tasking, priorities, and sprint planning activities in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company.
The Project Coordinator has responsibility to the Project Manager in providing the required deliverables in accordance with the agreed project schedules and deliverables. The role is responsible for ensuring that required project information is available when and where it is needed to support other service management processes.
Responsibilities:
Responsible and accountable for assigned project(s), including performance accountability Coordinate and execute project operations and activities Provide support and input to capture and business pursuit activities Meet project scope, schedule and budget plans Provide meeting secretariat support to scheduled project and program meetings. Assist in workforce planning in support of current projects and/or assigned proposal capture activities Assist the Project Manager in customer and stakeholder engagement Act with a degree of autonomy and personal accountability for team outcomes Attend and provide secretariat support to relevant customer meetings as required Report on project status as required Contribute to the identification and management of technical risks and issues within the support to operations scope. Review, verify, and improve documentation produced in support of project development and sustainment. Meet assigned tasks within the requested project deliverables. Build and maintain relationships at all levels Foster a positive work environment that is professional, dynamic, and innovative. As the ideal candidate you will bring:
3-5 years' experience within a project management coordination role. Qualifications in related technical and/or project management field Experience in software development environments Strong client and staff engagement, relationship and communications skills Strong organisational and coordination skills Current or eligible to obtain a Defence security clearance Highly articulate with excellent attention to detail. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Experience in providing meeting secretariat role in support of drafting minutes and distribution to key stakeholders. Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
CASG/Defence/Defence Industry experience. Project Scheduling experience Advanced Office Computing Application knowledge in Win10, Excel and Word. Software Testing experience Ability to integrate Power BI with Azure Devops, to analyse and generate required interactive dashboards for sprint planning activities and support to the MPS PM What we will offer you:
