Graduate Electrical Engineer (Power System) This is a permanent position for an entry-level graduate Electrical Engineer with a focus on Power Systems, offering a highly competitive salary. What You'll Need to Succeed:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Full working rights in Australia and be Brisbane-based, or willing to relocate. A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A positive, adaptable attitude with a strong willingness to learn. The ability to work effectively under deadlines and deliver high-quality results. Self-discipline to work independently while thriving in a close-knit, collaborative team. Motivation to engage in site work and undertake high voltage commissioning when required. What You'll Be Doing:
In this role, you'll gain experience in a variety of tasks, including:
HV power system analysis: load flow, motor starting, protection coordination, fault levels, transient analysis, harmonic assessments, and more. HV and LV design: specifications, installation scope of works, plant arrangements, cable schedules, compliance assessments, and programming protection relay settings. Managing project schedules and budgets. Drafting using AutoCAD. Supporting HV commissioning and energisation processes. About High Power Engineering:
