Located only 30 minutes from Newcastle, Maitland Private maintains a community-focused feel, while being able to deliver high quality health services to the Maitland and Hunter Valley regions. The hospital encompasses 181 beds, 6 operating theatres, 10 bed ICU, with associated rehabilitation, medical and surgical Wards. Our services include two major medical centres, a dedicated mental health unit, an on-site cancer centre including radiation oncology, radiology practice and pathology laboratory.

Your new role as Oncology RN: Due to the ongoing growth of our day infusion lounge, we have various opportunities for highly motivated and patient-centered Oncology Registered Nurses to join our friendly, dynamic and supportive team.
About you (essential criteria): Current Working with Children Check and Police Check. Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA Minimum 4 years' post graduate experience in Oncology nursing, with demonstrated sound clinical knowledge and practice. A commitment to customer service and quality improvement. Ongoing commitment to professional development A positive attitude and an adaptable approach to problem solving and decision making. Organisational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities and meet critical time frames Strong collaborative interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills. Immunisation evidence and serology report in accordance with NSW Health. An understanding of NSQHS and ability to apply to clinical care. Relevant Oncology postgraduate qualifications, or working towards same Familiarity with desktop applications, including WebPAS and CHARM Healthe Care is an equal opportunity employer.
