This speciality role will enable you to practice at full scope and provide comprehensive medication management for patients receiving cancer treatments. Pindara Private Hospital has a long-established history of providing quality cancer care to the local community with a 21-chair day infusion unit, 34 bed inpatient ward, and an active clinical trials unit. The hospital provides a wide range of cancer services including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and cancer wellness in haematology and medical oncology.
Deliver patient-centered pharmacy services within a multidisciplinary team, emphasizing medication safety and optimization. Perform clinical assessments, drug therapy monitoring, and offer patient-specific recommendations. Engage in complex aseptic compounding and contribute to multidisciplinary team reviews and cancer care meetings. What you'll bring: Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent with current unconditional Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA High level of computer literacy including systems knowledge of CHARM, Merlin, and Microsoft Office. You are team-oriented, enjoy collaboration and passionate about providing specialised patient care. Previous experience and/or formal study in cancer care and the ability to perform aseptic complex compounding is highly regarded but not essential. It is a mandatory requirement that you provide:
