Description We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team specialising in engine repairs and maintenance. This is an on-site position for our Blackwater Mine site supporting our customer BUMA. Requiring to be on site at the Blackwater Mine Site directly representing Cummins.
$15,000 sign on bonus!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Deliver a first-class service to our mining customer at Blackwater mine siteComplete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the workshop and fieldDiagnose and repair enginesInspect and replace components as requiredEngine rebuilding and reconditioningComplete required documentationWorking on and maintaining OEM's – Komatsu 930E's Fleet, Hitachi & Cat ExcavatorsTo be successful in this role, you will need the following: Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, power generation on engines and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
