We are seeking a hardworking, reliable and motivated On-Road Service Technician who is ready to support our 'ultimate customer experience' by helping with regular maintenance service and emergency onsite service to our fleet. You will be an integral part of the team, contributing to the establishment & growth of our newest branch in Newman. This is a full time permanent role.
This is not a FIFO role. Only Newman residents will be considered.
You will be responsible for servicing the leading range of equipment in our Newman Workshop, as well as servicing equipment onsite.
Deliver timely response to emergency breakdowns. Liaise with our customers on-site. Maintain and adhere to safety standards and Zero harm focus. Provide a professional approach to mechanical solutions and maintenance of equipment. Ensure timely mechanical repairs and fault findings. Raise initiatives in our employee initiative program, we value your input to making our processes streamlined or improved, with your industry knowledge and every quarter acknowledge one winner in the employee rewards program. Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate Preferably with similar working experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter. Current and valid Driver's License OHS Construction Card (White card preferred) Elevated Work Platform license (highly desirable) Experience working with Diesel Engines and Hydraulic equipment. Experienced in servicing, periodical inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment including, but not limited to Elevated Work Platforms - Lighting Towers and Telehandlers.
