ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an On Call Support Worker highly competent in responding to and supporting staff and carers during critical incidents in CASPA's Out Of Home Care services.
Based in the Far North Coast NSW (from Tweed Heads to Casino), the Casual role requires flexible availability across all hours on an as-need basis to ensure optimal outcomes for children, young people, and their families during times of crisis.
Key Responsibilities:
First response to crisis in person and by phoneAttend residential houses as required for supportAssist carers and therapeutic care workers support through incidents following all protocol for Wellbeing and Critical IncidentSupport the Therapeutic Care Worker with CASPA Policy and Procedure after hoursDocumentation including entering information on client management systemEMPLOYEE BENEFITS Free gym membership is available to all staff to support their well-being and encourage a healthy work-life balance.CASPA offers wellbeing support through Telus Health with free, confidential coaching and support from a team of expert clinicians.As a permanent employee of CASPA, either Full-time or Part-time, you can Salary Package up to $15,900 per year for general living expenses plus an additional $2,650 of your pay each year for entertainment benefits.CASPA has partnerships that provide employees with special banking benefits and access to discounts with Medibank.Comprehensive systems, including a Human Resources Information System and a Central Rostering System.Generous Leave EntitlementsSupervision Sessions and opportunities for Internal Training, Career Growth & ProgressionABOUT THE ORGANISATION CASPA Services Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation providing a range of specialised care services to support complex trauma-based needs for children, young people, families, and people living with disabilities.
