Ohs Co-Ordinator (Compliance)

Our client, based in Collie, is currently looking for an OHS Compliance Co-Ordinator to ensure they continue meeting operational safety needs.
The Role Reporting to the OHS Superintendent, the OHS Co-Ordinator will be responsible for monitoring safety compliance and proactively promoting hazard awareness and controlling risk throughout the mining operation.
The role also involves assisting with the implementation of environmental policies and programs.
The Requirements The ideal candidate will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & SafetyA demonstrated work history within occupational health and safety, including leadership experienceProven experience in heavy industry, mining or environmental sectorsA strong understanding of occupational health and safety legislation and the ability to educate and guide others in its applicationThe Details 7 days on 7 days off - Day Shift Only - 12.5 hour shiftsTemporary to permanent opportunityDrive in/out daily - must live within commuting distance to CollieExcellent hourly rateIf your experience and qualifications meet the above criteria and you have Australian Working Rights, click "Apply for this job" and attach your updated resume including your work history and contactable referees who have supervised your experience.
