For further information please visit our website.What You'll DoJoin the team at RBGV as an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Business Partner, where you'll lead the continuous development and implementation of our OHS program to ensure the safety of staff, visitors, and contractors. You'll provide expert advice and coaching to executives, managers, and staff, promoting a culture of safety through a systems-focused approach. You'll manage workplace incident responses, lead investigations, and liaise with WorkSafe Victoria as needed. Working in our People and Culture branch, you will oversee return-to-work processes and guide the OHS Support Officer. This role also involves conducting OHS training, managing stakeholder relationships, and developing risk control strategies to address hazards across RBGV lands and operations.What You'll BringThe successful applicant will ideally have tertiary qualifications and significant experience in OHS operational management within a medium-sized, multi-site public sector organisation. You will have a proven track record in developing and implementing modern OHS strategies and programs across diverse environments. You will also possess strong skills in incident response and investigation, with the ability to conduct research, data analysis, and reporting to inform decision-making. Excellent communication skills are essential, enabling you to build OHS management capability across all levels of the organisation and tailor advice to diverse audiences. The role requires the ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment while ensuring compliance with key objectives.
