Offshore Wind Impact Assessment Lead - Australia We invite you to bring your energy and experience into play as you drive our offshore wind impact assessment (IA) capability in Australia with the support of our strong national and international IA network to deliver full IA and consenting services in combination with our wider established technical and commercial services for the growing Australia offshore wind market. To succeed in this role you must have a strong track record in consenting offshore wind projects and an established network in the sector.

You Will Join Our International IA Spearhead Department As our new Offshore Wind IA lead (Australia) you will be part of the management team in the Asia Pacific Region (APAC) and will work with our global network of IA practitioners within our Environment and Health division. Our Australian IA teams are in Sydney, Hunter and Perth where we have a well-established presence in the onshore renewables, transport and mineral resource sectors. The offshore wind IA lead for Australia will ideally be in Melbourne where Ramboll is establishing its technical engineering and design teams to support our offshore wind clients in Australia.
Core Responsibilities STRATEGY AND GROWTH Implement the strategic direction for offshore wind within our IA teams across Australia for the forthcoming market growth.Provide direction and support for Ramboll's sector wide approach to offshore wind in Australia.Support the strategic thinking around expansion into wider regional and global markets.TEAM LEADERSHIP AND GROWTH: Grow, manage and lead the offshore wind EIA team in readiness for the pipeline and support strategic leadership of the wider EIA team.Upskilling of staff with transferrable skills into offshore wind projects.Develop a clear template for delivery for our offshore wind projects that builds on our experience to add value and efficiencies to our future projects.DELIVERING OUTSTANDING CLIENT FACING SOLUTIONS: Project Director or strategic advisor for a portfolio of offshore wind projects comprising direction to the EIA team, accountability for all deliverables, providing EIA and wider consenting strategic advice and troubleshooting to the Project, senior client and stakeholder representative.CLIENT ACCOUNT DEVELOPMENT: Build the pipeline of offshore wind work by developing existing contacts and building new industry contacts.Key client relationship manager for selected key client accounts with a view of ensuring good performance and expanding our opportunities.Lead on our offshore wind bidding activity and bid sponsor on select wider strategic bids.Maintain and strengthen connections across Ramboll to access opportunities and support development of the 'One Sector Wind' offer internally.YOUR STARTING POINT FOR CONSTANT GROWTH Well networked in the offshore wind industry with a proven track record of work with clients in the sector.Experienced in delivering impact assessment in the offshore wind sector and be familiar with the relevant legislative frameworks.Experienced in commercial and business management including management and responses to strategic bids, monthly reporting, resourcing and recruitment.Tertiary degree in a relevant engineering discipline (civil, environmental, chemical) or relevant science discipline (environmental science, geology, chemistry, physics, toxicology or biology) and 12+ years of qualifying experience.CAREER PROGRESSION Ramboll supports the ongoing growth and development of our employees, aligning individual career aspirations with our business needs.
