We want to transform the way marine services are delivered!What's in it for you?Global collaboration opportunitiesAn opportunity to work on industry-shaping projectsFlexible career developmentOpportunity to work on diverse global offshore projectsA strong company cultureThis is a full-time permanent position based in Perth, Western Australia with approximately 150 days offshore per year.The RoleAs a Survey Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing, installing, maintaining, and documenting all survey equipment onshore (workshop) and offshore (project and vessel specific).Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, calibrate, and maintain all survey equipment offshore as requiredEffect repairs when required to maintain the operational status of all equipmentAssist the Party Chief or Surveyor with calibrating sensors as requiredOn completion of offshore activities, prepare or update Engineering Handover Notes detailing issues encountered, spares required, or equipment that needs to be updated and/or repaired.Develop and maintain offshore reports detailing survey vessel installationsComplete Equipment Fault Reports for damaged or malfunctioning equipment and inform the Workshop Manager and Operations Manager accordingly.Assist the Workshop Manager in preparing project-specific equipmentQualificationsTertiary education certificate, diploma, or degree in technology, engineering, or information technology is desirableValid C Class Driver's LicenceValid High-Risk Work Licence – ForkliftCompressed Air Emergency Breathing System (desirable)Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable)Valid CSTP and/or TBOSIET or equivalent offshore licence (desirable)ExperienceExperience mobilising survey equipment onto vessels of opportunity and offshore installations is desirable.Previous experience with a range of subsea survey equipment and software is desirable, including but not limited to QINSy navigation, Veripos, Edgetech Discover, Sonarwiz, Sonardyne, USBL, Side Scan Sonar, Boomer, Sparker, Magnetometer, MBES etc.Ability to use established systems (Quality and Safety)Demonstrated logistics experienceCapable of building and sustaining effective relationshipsHow to applyAt MMA Offshore, we strive to foster a diverse and inclusive environment that empowers all employees to strive for their full potential.
