Wood has an immediate opening for a Structural Engineer experienced in Offshore Structures and Advanced Structural Analysis for structural integrity management to join our team in Perth. We currently have various Offshore Oil and gas projects; hence we are seeking skilled engineers with a solid background in Offshore Structures and Floating Systems. Other projects in our portfolio include near-shore marine structures and onshore assets for clients in the Oil & Gas and Mining industries.

Offshore Structural Engineer Requirements:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or Naval Architecture from an accredited University. Masters or PhD degrees will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 8 years' work experience.
Significant experience in structural analysis and design:
Knowledge of offshore structures and floating systems.
Experience in structural design and assessments as per International and Australian codes and standards such as API, ISO, DNV, AISC, ACI, AS4100, and AS3600.
Analysis skills in SACS and StaadPro software.
Knowledge of SESAM and USFOS will be beneficial.
Knowledge of FEA software such as ANSYS and ABAQUS will be an added advantage.
Experience in the field of Structural Integrity Management is desirable.
Knowledge of risk assessment and RBI development.
Experienced in the development of integrity management plans and strategies.
Knowledge of structural inspection techniques.
Development of structural inspection plans and inspection work instructions.
Review of structural anomalies and anomaly management.
Generally, there will be a need to lead more junior team members in the project management and technical delivery of structural engineering projects, with an emphasis on technical oversight and support of structural analysis scopes of work.
