Medical Rescue is seeking full-time AHPRA Registered Nurse for FIFO work in an offshore remote clinic.

The Opportunity:  As a FIFO registered paramedic or nurse you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality medical services to workers on a large-scale offshore project. Operating in remote conditions you will be working a roster of 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off completing 12-hour shifts with an on-call component alongside.
You will be responsible for patient assessment, out-of-hospital care, and patient transfers, requiring the ability to work independently. Your primary focus will be providing out-of-hospital medical care at the emergency medical clinic, which may include providing primary healthcare solutions, responding to medical emergencies, and helping assist and co-ordinate patient transfers off site. Additionally, you will ensure site safety, actively participate in drug and alcohol testing, conduct hydration checks, best practice education and contribute to site audits, and safety plan reviews alongside administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities: Maintaining patient and team safety during pre-hospital emergencies, extrication from difficult environments and patient transport. Providing clinical care (triage,assessment, treatment, monitoring and transport) to patients in accordance with Clinical Practice Guidelines, standard operating procedures and policies or in consultation with the Medical Director and government legislations. Cold Chain management in accordance with government legislation Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of interactions with all patients, including reporting. Communicating effectively with other health care professionals, emergency service personnel, colleagues, patients. Participating in patient safety, clinical quality, risk management and clinical and operational practice improvement activities. Maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professionalism with respect to the role, including confidentiality and ethical practice. Ensuring the security, safety and maintenance of all equipment, drugs and consumables. Private rooms with ensuite facilities provided and access to Wifi, gym facilities, and meals Flights and accommodation covered; employees responsible for travel from their home to Perth airport Requirements:  The successful candidate will need to currently hold or be willing to obtain:
Minimum of 5 year's experience post graduation. Drug & Alcohol Testing Certificate - HLTPAT005 Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions Current ALS 1 or 2 certificate Police Check Full Working Rights within Australia Pre employment medical including Lab drug & alcohol testing EChute MISC Prior experience in remote site or industrial work on construction projects is highly desirable. The ability to work autonomously, as well as with a team and to be 'on call' when required.
