Own, develop and drive best practice retail pricing strategies Role Overview:
Accountable for developing, implementing, and maintaining systems and processes to ensure we meet our financial targets whilst optimising margin, the Pricing team uphold Officeworks' everyday low-price pillar and provide competitive everyday low prices for customers.
Key Responsibilities : Lead Pricing Strategy: Own, maintain and uphold Officeworks retail pricing strategy to drive revenue and profitability across all channels.
Pricing and margin optimisation: Manage a portfolio of large 40,000+ article count to deliver budgeted sales and margin, for all Purchase Groups.
Team Leadership: Lead an established and successful retail pricing team across base/EDLP, retail pricing, promotional, seasonal and competitive pricing optimisation.
AI – Driven Solutions: Develop, implement and maintain sophisticated AI pricing systems.
Competitor Analysis: Ensure competitor pricing issues are identified and managed proactively.
Price Change Execution: Manage price change timing, volume and execution through to stores and online.
About you Our successful candidate will ideally be tertiary qualified in the fields of business, commerce or related fields, preferably with leadership capabilities within Retail or FMCG.
Extensive data analytical or pricing experience will be well balanced with your commercial acumen and ability to deliver profitable outcomes.
Ideally you will also have demonstrated development and implementation of process and system improvements across a pricing solutions portfolio.
Your ability to inspire, negotiate, influence and present, sees you effectively communicating with your team and all key stakeholders toward achieving positive outcomes.
As a leader, you are decisive, inclusive and collaborative, inspiring team learning and development.
