Located five kilometres south of Muswellbrook in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Mt Arthur Coal is an open cut mine, producing thermal coal.
About the roleDue to an increased fleet of equipment at Thiess Mt Arthur South, the warehouse team have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Store Person.
Working a lifestyle roster (5/4 4/5 5/5), 12.5 hr shifts rotating day and night, you will be reporting to the Store Supervisor and be part of a team that is committed to developing our people.
Your responsibilitiesEstablish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service to internal stakeholdersEnsure efficient operation of the warehouse by coordinating deliveries with carriers and adhering to schedules and deadlinesAssist the stores personnel to efficiently manage inventory, picking and staging of parts, receipting and stocktaking in order to meet organisational and maintenance targetsGeneral housekeeping of tool store, warehouse and laydown areaAbout youExperience within a store person role is preferredHigh Risk Forklift Licence is preferredA Tertiary Qualification in Warehousing/Procurement would be highly regardedExceptional organisational, communication and time management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is vitalUnderstanding of Workplace Health and Safety Act, Regulations and where applicable, Codes of PracticeBenefitsHelp to grow your career, offering diverse and varied opportunities for advancementFlexible working arrangementsSalary sacrifice optionsA range of corporate discounts, including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products #J-18808-Ljbffr
