About the role This position plays a pivotal role focusing on building sector capability and enhancing emergency response readiness in the Northern Territory.
This role specifically concentrates on building the capability of external and internal stakeholders involved in evacuation centre management to ensure effective response during emergencies.
What you will bring Demonstrated sound technical knowledge and expertise in developing and delivering capability building activities and initiatives, preferably in emergency management or related fields Sound understanding of evacuation centre management principles, protocols, and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders Knowledge of Indigenous culture and sensitivity to community needs in the Northern Territory context is advantageous Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to utilise digital platforms for training delivery and documentation Ability to work under general direction from senior employees within clear objectives and budget constraints and work with and support teams and people from diverse backgrounds and create a collaborative working environment Ability to manage time, set priorities, plan and organise their own work Compliance Requirements A Drivers licence is required for this role.

Remuneration from $85,145.84 + superannuation + access to salary packaging.
