The Fleet Officer supports a variety of fleet services for the organisation.
In this role, you will manage the fleet on a daily basis, ensuring it aligns with the organisation's needs and is appropriately sized to support our commitment to achieving zero emissions.
Based out of the Barwon Asset Solutions head office in Breakwater, you will liaise with our contracted fleet partner organisation to ensure the fleet is managed effectively and in line with industry and internal standards.
By leveraging your expert knowledge, you will influence others, coordinate disposal and acquisition, investigate and close infringements within required timeframes, manage tolls and oversee the vehicle pool system.
Your responsibilities include providing advice to drivers, processing invoices, raising Purchase Orders, and maintaining databases.
About you
You have excellent customer service and fleet experience.
You are comfortable and interested in learning on the job across a broad organisation.
Through your engaging personality and natural communication style, you will influence both internal and external stakeholders.
Able to multi-task, you can think on your feet and prioritise workloads to meet service needs.
You can take decisive action while ensuring quality, compliance, and health and safety are at the forefront.
As this role requires travel across Barwon Water, a Victorian driver's license is required.
