Office Services Assistant - Brisbane (3 days per week)Generalist admin role including coordination of mailroom and couriers, external deliveries as required, and attending to urgent Court lodgements.
About the roleOur national office services function supports our firm to run smoothly and efficiently. The wider team consists of national reception, records management, office services, and catering. Our Brisbane office currently has an opportunity for a motivated Office Services Assistant to work 3 days per week, Wednesday to Friday.
Day to day your key responsibilities will include: Coordination of mailroom and couriersRecords management lodgement, retrieval, and coordination of archived filesBrief runs and deliveries as requiredAttending to urgent Court lodgementsPreparing access cards and assisting with office moves and new startersProviding reception relief to cover breaks or unexpected leave including greeting clients and assisting with meeting room set-upStationery stocktake and orderingAssisting catering team with events as requiredGeneral administrationAbout youYou will have prior administration and/or customer service experience, ideally within a legal or professional services environment. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, with a team-based and client-first approach.
To be successful in this role you will also have: Excellent interpersonal skills with sound written and verbal communicationFast and accurate typing skillsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeExcellent attention to detailEnjoy working in a team-based environment with a commitment to contributing to positive team morale and engagementA can-do attitude with plenty of initiativeAvailable to be in the office on Wednesday, Thursday & FridayKnowledge of Work10 and Aderant will be highly regarded however not essential as training will be provided. This role would also be an opportunity for law students seeking part-time work or candidates interested in becoming a legal assistant in the future.
