The role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that strives to make a positive impact and build organisational Information Management capability to improve efficiency, productivity, decision-making and compliance.
The role reports to the Director ICTS and will be required to consult and work collaboratively across functions within OIR to establish and continually improve information management capability and practices across the agency, ensuring compliance with Queensland government standards and policies.

Your contribution:
The role reports to the Director ICT and will be required to consult and work collaboratively across functions within OIR to establish and continually improve information management capability and practices across the agency, ensuring compliance with Queensland government standards and policies.
Partnering with the business, the role will develop strategies for improving information and records management capability through organisation-wide projects and programs. The role is responsible for coordinating the evaluation, development, implementation, maintenance and review of OIR information and records management policies, procedures, standards, industry trends, systems and guidelines in accordance with OIR's requirements.
The incumbent will provide subject matter expertise to support the development and implementation of business systems to ensure they meet information and record management requirements and will manage the operational function. This role also works closely with other members of the ICT leadership team, including Manager Cyber Security.
