It is an inclusive not-for-profit sessional kinder providing quality 3 and 4 year old kindergarten programs. It is set in natural surrounds next to Anthony Beale Reserve in Greensborough. The kindergarten is full of character and life with a large outdoor area that the children love to explore. For more information about Wahroonga Pre-School and our philosophy, please refer to our website Work Days of the Role Tuesday and other day(s) to be negotiated Hours of Work of the Role 8 Description We are seeking a self-motivated, highly organised and team orientated Office Manager to support our friendly and fun team of Kinder Teachers and Educators at Wahroonga Pre School in be successful in this position you will be able to work collaboratively within a small team of early childhood professionals and with a team of highly engaged parent committee members, prioritise tasks, have strong organisational and administrative skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to build relationships with our current and new children and families. Previous experience in an Office Manager / Administration role is a must and experience working in a kinder or an early childhood setting would be a bonus!As our Office Manager,you will work closely with and support our Kinder Teacher, Educators and Committee Members to assist with the administration of the kinder. The role includes but is not limited to the following: Act as the general liaison between staff and committee including attendance to committee meetings and the AGM. Produce general communications to families in collaboration with Teachers, Educators and Committee. Facilitate the enrolment process including organising tours with new families, support families with the enrolment process, maintain enrolment details and update forms and systems as required, provide families with enrolment information packs, and ensure Teachers and Educators have relevant enrolment information. Administer the Extended Care Program including managing enrolments and invoicing. Manage data entry into the Kinder Information Management System (KIMS) including annual confirmations, school readiness funding, coordinating school readiness writing plan and ensure Wahroonga's funding obligations are met. Assist with the coordination of staff and pre school led events including incursions, excursions, and celebrations throughout the year. Assist with purchasing equipment and resources. Monitor communications from governing bodies and raise updates or changes. Support the Quality Improvement Plan, Child Safe Plan and other relevant plans as appropriate. Ensure procedures are followed by staff in accordance with Wahroonga's policies and procedures. This position is permanent part time, 8 hours per week across at least two days with some additional hours required to attend committee meetings, staff meetings, the AGM and other ad hoc requirements. Workdays can be negotiated however it is preferred that you are available to work on a Tuesday. You will be required to work onsite at our kinder in Greensborough and some work from home can be negotiated.
