Office Management (Administration & Office Support) CK Recruitment are looking for a committed, mature Office Manager to work for a not-for-profit conservation organization located in Campbelltown. This role is Monday to Friday with 9-5 hours. You will be working in the office alone and managing the entire administration side of the organization. This will be a very busy position, and you will be required to work in the office each day. You will need to be able to work alone and have great time management skills.
Role Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day tasks and activities of the national office. Manage marketing exposure for the society including the website and social media. Lobbying to government and organizations on wildlife matters. Administration for the application of grants to assist the society. Attendance to the monthly board meetings, preparing agendas, reporting, and minute-taking. Preparing, publishing, and distributing the monthly report "from your directors." Assisting with various program budgets. Supervision of the Schools' Project. Establish a yearly timeline for the society's activities including monthly board meetings, AGM, magazine, Uni grants, Uni scholarships, photographic competition, annual gala ball, and awards. As directed, you will be required to work on or coordinate special projects. Role Purpose Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Office Manager is responsible for working with the executive team of the society to provide office management, administration (including budget), and program support.
Workplace Safety Ensure all safety issues are identified and actioned. Utilize toolbox meetings to communicate safety issues. Actively participate and coordinate yearly safety activities to ensure compliance. Encourage team members to learn from mistakes in ensuring hazards are identified. Ensure equipment is serviced/repaired within a timely manner. Level of Competence Required for the Role Microsoft applications proficiency. Understanding of the Government Grant Initiative program. Previous experience working in an autonomous environment. Superior customer service knowledge and skills. Demonstrated time management. Strong understanding of implementation and implications of risk management principles. Demonstrates actions that are aligned with company goals and visions, leading with positive influences.
