We are seeking an administrative superstar who can perform key business tasks while also building and maintaining strong relationships with our families.About Pomona & District KindergartenPomona & District Kindergarten is a not-for-profit community kindergarten affiliated with C&K, located in the township of Pomona, in the Noosa Hinterland. The center runs two groups across a five-day-fortnight, with enrolments capped at 22 places per group. Known affectionately as 'The Kindy', Pomona & District Kindergarten provides a welcoming and peaceful natural environment that feels safe, inclusive and welcoming for our children, their families, and our staff.You will:Deliver a high standard of customer service as well as perform key business administrative and financial tasks; professionally, with a friendly manner.Build and maintain strong relationships with families, demonstrating discretion, sensitivity and empathy.Demonstrate advanced computer skills and possess excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace; as well as the capacity to learn and use in-house database systems.Be able to work autonomously and meet deadlines effectively.Report regularly on financial position, and provide accurate financial updates and forecasts.Support the Volunteer Parent Committee as required and assist with the AGM held in February each year.Support the Co-Director/s and Committee President as and when required.Qualifications in Business Administration or relevant industry experience.Payroll and Bookkeeping Experience using STP enabled accounting software (preferred).Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain.Experience in a child-care, community kindergarten or educational setting is favorable.Committee experience (P&C, Sporting Club, etc) is welcomed but not essential.Experience using a Child Management System (Kidsoft), Google Workspace, Quickbooks/MYOB/Xero is desirable.First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification welcomed but not required.The successful applicant must comply with C&K child safety policies and related policies and procedures as determined by the committee; uphold the overarching principles and values of the Kindy and C&K; and commit to take all reasonable steps to promote the safety of children.How to ApplyFor more information on this role, please email ****** do not call the centre directly.Provide a current resume/CV as well as a detailed covering letter outlining your suitability for the role against the essential and desirable criteria outlined in the advertisement.
