$100,000 – $140,000 per year plus 11.5% super.
About the role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Office Manager with a strong accounting/bookkeeping background to join the team at R J Cornish & Co Pty Ltd in Cobram, Victoria. As the Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing all accounting and administrative functions, supporting the business and its employees in achieving their goals.
What you'll be doing includes: Maintain company accounts including recording revenue and some of the major expensesManage and oversee all administrative procedures and office operationsPrepare and manage annual cash flow budgets, prepare profit and loss reports and liaising with external accountants who visit twice a yearSubmitting ATO Business Activity Statements and State Payroll Tax returnsEnsure the company is meeting legislative requirements in relation to payroll, superannuation, PAYG taxation including provisions of the Fair Work Act 2009 and Horticulture Award 2020.During January, February, March and April prepare daily fruit harvest production and sales recordsDuring July to December prepare weekly citrus production and sales recordsImplement and maintain efficient filing, recordkeeping, and document management systemsManage Labour Hire Contracts and all payments to Labour Hire ProvidersProcess the staff payrollPrepare Workcover remuneration confirmation and projectionsManage Workcover program for any injured workersManage company insurance programAct as chairperson of the Occupational Health & Safety CommitteeNegotiate electricity supply contractsAdminister company security system (distribution of keys, locks etc)Manage company communication accounts (fixed line, mobile and internet)Maintain company computer system and websitePerform the tasks of the other office employee in their absence including creditor payments and weekly payroll functions for permanent and casual workersWhat we're looking for: Substantial experience as an Office Manager with extensive accounting backgroundExcellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectivelyStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and clientsProficiency in the use of office software, including Microsoft Office suite and MYOB AccountingProven problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAttention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality workFlexibility to adapt to changing business needs and prioritiesWillingness to work extended hours and days during the busy harvest period of mid-January to mid-April.What we offer:
