We are seeking an experienced Office Manager with a strong background in accounting firm operations to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing office functions, overseeing administration staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
This role provides an integral service to both the Directors and all team members, focusing on business management and financial efficiency. This role will be split between the Stafford and Alexandra Headland offices, and the successful applicant will be required to travel to both locations.
Tasks include: Operational Support & Leadership: Provide support to Directors and employees, ensuring company values and culture are upheld, and oversee quality control and work practicesAdministration Management: Onboard, train, and mentor administration staff, manage leave requests, and ensure smooth office operationsProcess & Implementation: Collaborate on updating and refining company processes, implement new software, tools, and processes, and manage IT mattersFinancial Oversight: Manage financial functions including debtor control and liaise with suppliersMeetings & Events: Prepare and present information at meetings, and organise company eventsRequirements: Minimum 5+ years of office management experience in an accounting firmExperience in managing and training administration staffProficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and Outlook, in particular)Strong knowledge of administrative responsibilities, systems, and proceduresExcellent time management, organisational, and planning skillsWhat you can expect from us: Supportive Environment: You'll be part of a close-knit team where support and collaboration are paramount.Team-Building Activities: Regular team events both in-office and off-site to celebrate achievements and foster team spirit.Access to Modern Technology: Dual screens and the latest technology to support your efficiency and productivity.If you are an experienced Office Manager with a background in accounting firm operations and a passion for leading and developing administration staff, we would love to hear from you!
