Office Manager

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to join our dynamic VFX facility in Brisbane.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment.
This role requires a versatile individual who can handle a variety of tasks, from general office management to event planning and marketing support.
Key Responsibilities: General Office Management: Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring a clean, organised, and efficient workspace.
Manage office and kitchen supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and available.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office maintenance and repairs.
Maintain office policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Seating - plan and execute moves.
Social Committee Responsibilities: Act as a representative on the social committee, organising and coordinating social events and activities for the team.
Foster a positive and inclusive office culture through regular team-building events and initiatives.
Events Management: Plan and execute internal and external events, including meetings, workshops, and company celebrations.
Coordinate logistics for events, such as venue booking, catering, and transportation.
Ensure all events run smoothly and are within budget.
Day-to-Day Running of Office and Facilities Maintenance: Monitor and maintain office facilities, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Address any issues related to office equipment, utilities, and general maintenance promptly.
Liaise with the RSP Infrastructure team, building management and external contractors for any necessary repairs or upgrades.
Marketing and General Office Support: Assist the marketing team with administrative tasks, such as preparing materials and coordinating campaigns specific to the Brisbane studio.
Provide general office support, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and administrative tasks as needed.
Support other departments with various projects and tasks as required.
Qualifications: Proven experience in office management or a similar role.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in event planning and marketing support is a plus.
