MAF is looking to fill the vital role of Office Manager in their Arnhem Land program. One of the most remote places can be found in Arnhem Land, a historical region of the Northern Territory of Australia. It is a vast wilderness area, defined by rocky escarpments, gorges, rivers, and waterfalls. MAF has served the people in Arnhem Land for 50 years by sharing God's love through aviation. To continue providing this valuable service we need a highly motivated and energetic Office Manager. Working alongside the Country Director and senior staff, the Office Manager plays a key role in a variety of complex administrative activities and sometimes sensitive situations. The jobholder will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office and will also manage conferences and events. This exciting opportunity will require excellent organisational skills, a cool head and focus to get the work done. Responsibilities In this role you will provide support to the Country Director and Senior Staff by working with them pro-actively. You will do this through a variety of office administration duties including: Organising meetings and events Designing and overseeing the production of publications Making travel arrangements Taking minutes of meetings Working with Building Maintenance to coordinate property repairs And more! Minimum Requirements Essential: Post High School qualification in administration, secretary, PA or equivalent Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Experience as an Office Manager, Executive Secretary or equivalent Experience in note-taking Experience in planning and facilitating meetings and conferences Experience in compiling a budget Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to prepare documents or presentations Working knowledge of electronic communication methods Touch typing Desirable: Knowledge of Mail Chimp or equivalent Knowledge of Trello or equivalent Resource Management NOTE: Applicants must have the legal right to work in either Australia.
